Adaptive_Detectability_Framework_(FAD)

Scope statement. This document specifies a methodological architecture for designing andevaluating weak-signal detection systems. It does not by itself demonstrate that the completesystem works, that a new physical interaction has been observed, or that an additionalcoupling between energy degrees of freedom exists. The equations are applicable only undertheir explicit hypotheses. It is not claimed that the confirmatory simulations, experimentalcampaigns, or instrumental validation described here have been executed.Abstract. The Adaptive Detectability Framework (FAD) organizes weak-signal evaluationinto a traceable chain: physical model, measurement model, calibration, statistical analysis, controls, certification, and independent reproduction. Two pathways are distinguished:(A) detection of known processes with a defined interaction channel and instrumental re-sponse; and (B) exploratory search for a possible additional coupling, which remains anon-demonstrated phenomenological hypothesis until a mechanism, a quantitative prediction, and a falsifiable test exist. Criteria are specified for transfer functions, correlated noise, amplification, Fisher information, nuisance parameters, equivalence, missing data, numericalapproximation, simulation, preregistration, and decision. Budget, schedule, and perfor-mance figures inherited from previous versions are considered planning estimates pendingindependent verification.
