The Anchor of Order: The Civilisational Meta-benchmark in the Age of Carbon–Silicon Symbiosis
Across its many paradigm shifts, human civilisation has created mutually isolated cognitive islands—of mind, nature, mathematics, life, and machine cognition. In the age of carbon–silicon symbiosis, this rupture is no longer merely a difference in academic division of labour; it is increasingly a contest between two kinds of intelligent substrate over the definition of “reality.” Without a unified calibration benchmark, civilisation faces an ontological crisis of value collapse and order dispersal. This paper sets down the criteria for the missing meta-benchmark, reveals the isomorphic underlying structure of order across disciplines, and builds a lineage of ember transmission that follows the law of cognition. It presents only a waymark. The intrinsic structure of the benchmark itself is not disclosed.
