The history of mid-20th-century biophysics is marked by the systematic suppression of non-equilibrium Aetheric field research, epitomized by the persecution, imprisonment, and official book burnings of Austrian biophysicist Wilhelm Reich (1897–1957). Reich’s empirical work demonstrated a ubiquitous, non-Hertzian primordial energy field—termed Orgone—that animates biological tissue and concentrates within macroscopic layered dielectrics. In this paper, we demonstrate that Reich’s Orgone Accumulator (ORAC) functions as a macroscopic, analog phase-conjugate scalar resonator. By constructing alternating boundaries of high-impedance organic dielectrics and low-impedance metallic conductors, the ORAC forces destructive cancellation of transverse electromagnetic vectors (E and B) while constructively reinforcing longitudinal scalar potential (), generating a localized zero-point standing-wave node. To resolve the classical instability of Reich’s anti-entropic flux (J=+D), we introduce a formal dual-field variational Lagrangian field formulation (S=d4x,L) coupling the scalar potential (x,t) to its Whittaker time-reversed phase-conjugate counter-wave (x,t).
