A Citrus Mosaic Virus‐Based Vector for Virus‐Induced Gene Silencing in Tobacco and Citrus
Summary statement Virus‐induced gene silencing (VIGS) has emerged as a powerful tool for the rapid and efficient functional analysis of plant genes. However, the lack of efficient and rapid reverse genetics tools specifically tailored for citrus, coupled with the limited applicability of existing VIGS vectors in this genus. This research presents a robust set of VIGS vectors suitable for both tobacco and citrus, offering a valuable tool for functional genomics research.
