The Effect Of Workload On Job Satisfaction With Work Stress As A Mediating Variable Among Bogor Regency Police Officers, Specifically In The Narcotics Criminal Investigation Unit
This study examines workload, work stress, and job satisfaction among 50 Bogor Regency narcotics investigation officers using questionnaire data and PLS-SEM. Workload was negatively associated with satisfaction (β = −0.273; p = 0.006) and positively with stress (β = 0.653; p < 0.001). Stress was negatively associated with satisfaction (β = −0.636; p < 0.001). The indirect association (β = −0.415; p < 0.001) supports complementary partial mediation. The observational design does not establish temporal order or causation, and interpretation remains conditional on measurement-quality evidence.
