AI-DRIVEN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FOR ACCELERATING INNOVATION AND ENHANCING PRODUCT PERFORMANCE

Artificial intelligence is becoming an important part of contemporary product development, influencing how organizations manage projects, collaborate with external partners, adapt to technological change, and respond to customer needs. This study examines the relationships between AI-integrated project management, open innovation networks, digital agility, customer-driven product development, and digital product success. A quantitative, survey-based research design was adopted using responses from participants in an existing dataset. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s alpha, and Pearson correlation analysis were applied to examine the characteristics of the study constructs, assess the internal consistency of the questionnaire items, and identify associations among the measured variables. The results revealed positive and statistically significant relationships between all four organizational constructs and digital product success. Customer-driven product development exhibited the strongest association with digital product success, followed by open innovation networks, digital agility, and AI-integrated project management. The reliability analysis also indicated high internal consistency across the five constructs. These findings suggest that customer orientation, external collaboration, organizational adaptability, and AI-integrated project management are relevant when examining reported digital product success. However, the results represent statistical associations and do not demonstrate that AI directly accelerates innovation or improves product performance. The study provides a correlational perspective on organizational capabilities associated with digital product outcomes. Future research should employ longitudinal designs, validated measurement instruments, and objective performance indicators to investigate these relationships and determine whether the observed associations correspond to measurable improvements in product development.
