The Effects of Contingency Leadership Style and Work Motivation on Employee Performance Mediated by Job Satisfaction at PT Prameswari Kharisma Alam
This study examines contingency leadership, work motivation, and employee performance at PT Prameswari Kharisma Alam, with job satisfaction as a mediator. A cross-sectional census of 114 employees combined employee questionnaires with supervisor-rated performance. PLS-SEM estimated reflective-reflective higher-order constructs. Leadership (β = 0.364), motivation (β = 0.263), and satisfaction (β = 0.359) were positively associated with performance. Satisfaction partially mediated the leadership-performance (β = 0.171) and motivation-performance (β = 0.132) relationships. The findings suggest combining clear direction and employee participation with fair working conditions and better project coordination.
