NSWOCC President’s Award

The NSWOCC President’s Award represents one of the highest honours within our organization. It recognizes not only excellence in clinical practice, but also the kind of leadership, generosity, and dedication that shapes our profession, strengthens our community, and improves the lives of the patients we serve. The 2026 recipient is a nurse whose influence extends far beyond her day-to-day role. She has contributed to clinical excellence, education, and leadership in ways that have strengthened our specialty and elevated care for patients across communities. Her leadership within NSWOCC has helped shape the organization over time, and her contribution continues to be felt today. Many of us have been influenced by her mentorship, collaboration, or simply by the example she sets. She truly embodies the spirit of this award. I have the great honour of awarding Rosemary Hill with the 2026 NSWOCC President’s Award. • Corey Heerschap, PhD, MScCH, RN, NSWOC, WOCC(C), FNSWOCPast President, NSWOCC
