TECHNOLOGICAL CONVERGENCE IN NEXT-GENERATION ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, ROBOTICS, EV POWER ELECTRONICS, AND SEMICONDUCTOR DESIGN
The rapid advancement of emerging technologies has accelerated the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, electric vehicle (EV) power electronics, and semiconductor design, transforming the landscape of next-generation electronic systems. This study aims to examine the evolution, research trends, intellectual structure, and interdisciplinary connections among these four technological domains through a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications published between 2020 and 2026. Relevant research publications were identified using predefined keywords and retrieved from an appropriate scholarly database. The data collection process was structured using the PRISMA framework to support transparent identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of relevant records. Bibliometric techniques were employed to investigate annual publication trends, keyword co-occurrence, research themes, and the relationships between major technological domains. VOSviewer was used to construct and visualize keyword networks, thematic clusters, and the intellectual linkages emerging from the selected publications. The analysis is intended to identify prominent research areas, evolving technological priorities, interdisciplinary collaborations, and potential knowledge gaps. Attention is given to the integration of AI-enabled intelligent systems, robotics-based automation, energy-efficient EV power electronics, and advanced semiconductor architectures. By mapping the interconnections among these fields, the study provides a comprehensive overview of the research landscape and highlights opportunities for future investigations into intelligent, energy-efficient, and highly integrated electronic systems. The findings are expected to offer valuable insights for researchers, technology developers, policymakers, and industry practitioners seeking to understand emerging research directions and innovation opportunities at the intersection of these technologies.
