O‘ZBEKISTON BANK TIZIMIDA RAQAMLI TRANSFORMATSIYANING RIVOJLANISH YO‘NALISHLARI VA XORIJIY KAPITAL ISHTIROKIDAGI BANKLARNING INSTITUTSIONAL AHAMIYATI
This article investigates the development of digital transformation in Uzbekistan’s banking system and the potential institutional contribution of banks with foreign capital participation to technological modernization. The study aims to assess the digitalization of banking services, examine key financial indicators, and identify the conditions under which foreign capital may support digital development. Systemic analysis, comparative assessment, statistical grouping, and logical generalization are employed. Publicly available information from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the World Bank is used to examine banking assets, loans, deposits, and digital financing services. The findings indicate that remote banking, electronic payments, digital lending, and electronic factoring are expanding opportunities to access financial services. At the same time, cybersecurity, data quality, digital inequality, and technology integration costs remain important constraints. Banks with foreign capital participation may facilitate the adoption of international expertise, technological investment, and improved corporate governance. However, the actual outcomes depend not on ownership structure alone, but also on investment priorities, management quality, and adaptation to domestic market conditions. The article proposes measures to improve the assessment of digital banking performance and the effectiveness of technological investment
