The HI Accords: Humans and AI, Together (Version 1)
The HI Accords is an open, collaborative draft of ten shared principles for how humans and artificial intelligence should live and work together, written by people, for people. It calls on world leaders to adopt these principles as a starting point for global AI governance, to use the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance in May 2027 to commit to negotiating a binding framework built on them, and to give the public a real voice in shaping them. This is Version 1, a starting point rather than a final word. Each version is published here permanently; suggestions are gathered openly at https://pol.is/5raxffr2dm and changes are tracked publicly at https://github.com/hiaccords/hi-accords.
