La traducción intersemiótica de la interfaz digital en la ficción audiovisual: análisis semiótico-narrativo de Sherlock (BBC)
This article analyzes how digital languages are translated into audiovisual language in contemporary fiction, within the context of the rise of multimodality and the integration of interfaces into narrative. Using a qualitative approach that combines semiotic-narrative and multimodal analysis, the BBC series Sherlock is examined as a representative case study. The analysis distinguishes between the translation of digital communication and the visualization of thought, highlighting distinct narrative functions. It also examines the construction of meaning and viewer engagement. The results show that intersemiotic translation acts as a structuring principle of the narrative. It is concluded that this phenomenon redefines translation and communication studies in contemporary digital culture.
