Zalan Masner, Mikó and Talamas, a New Genus of Teleasinae (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae)

A lineage of teleasine parasitoid wasps, previously referred to as the Trimorus ninus (Nixon) species group, is treated as a new genus, Zalan new genus. Zalan is diagnosed from other teleasine lineages and is reported for the first time from the New World with seven species: Zalan fingal new species, Zalan gouleti new species, Zalan lindbergi (Masner), Zalan marshalli new species, Zalan nimius new species, Zalan pygmaeus new species, and Zalan striolatus new species. The concepts of these species are supported by molecular data, including 18S, 28S and COI.
