This article examines the issues of increasing the energy efficiency of the convective drying process for fruits and vegetables and reducing heat losses through the introduction of a system for reusing the drying agent (hot air). As a result of the study, the aerodynamic and thermal balances of the drying unit were calculated, and a resource-saving integrated technological scheme was developed. The relevance of the topic is due to the need for deep processing of agricultural raw materials and the reduction of energy costs.
