QISHLOQ HUDUDLARIDA AHOLINING NORASMIY BANDLIGI: MOHIYATI, SHAKLLARI VA OMILLARI

The article provides a theoretical and statistical analysis of informal employment in rural areas. The aim is to reveal the essence of informal employment, distinguish it from formal employment, systematise the forms and factors characteristic of rural areas, and assess them using official labour balance data. The study relies on a literature review, a comparative-analytical method, a systems approach and statistical analysis of labour resources balance data. Informal employment is examined within four theoretical approaches, and its economic, institutional, socio-demographic and territorial factors are grouped. The analysis shows that the share of informal employment declined from 43.8 per cent in 2021 to 37.9 per cent in 2024, that its agrarian core still accounts for almost a third of the informal sector, and that regional differences exceed eightfold. The results serve as a theoretical and informational basis for economic-mathematical models aimed at reducing informal employment
