Smart City Technologies and Road Traffic Safety in Law-Enforcement Practice

In this article, an attempt is made to understand the problems of using smart city technologies in the process of ensuring road safety in the legal field. In particular, public law regulation, law enforcement practice, as well as the opinions of scientists were considered, on the basis of which separate conclusions were drawn from the text of the work and proposals were formulated, one of which, for example, is the legalization of fixing the behavior of drivers capable of committing an administrative offense through the use of computer algorithms. The application of this and other proposals in practice can resolve some of the ethical contradictions regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies, improve road safety in cities and ensure the supremacy of human and civil rights and freedoms.
