MaREA: diseño de una herramienta multidimensional para la autoevaluación de recursos educativos abiertos
Open educational resources (OER) are defined not only by their availability free of charge or by the presence of an open licence, but also by the legal, technical, documentary and accessibility-related conditions that enable them to be effectively located, adapted, reused and preserved. This paper presents MaREA, a self-assessment tool designed to evaluate the formal conformity of individual resources with OER principles. A narrative review was conducted of definitions, institutional recommendations, openness frameworks and evaluation systems. Based on this synthesis, six dimensions were operationalised: identification; access and licensing; format and reuse; metadata; accessibility; and publication and preservation. MaREA combines exclusion criteria, consistency rules and a weighted score out of 100, together with a conformity level and a downloadable badge. MaREA integrates aspects that other instruments tend to address in a fragmented manner and enables an independent and immediate assessment of the resource under evaluation.
