ATLANTIS: Decoding the dialogues Timaeus & Critias of Plato

The analysis of Google Earth’s screenshot proves that Plato's Atlantis was a real continent and not a fiction that the great philosopher invented to support his Ideal Republic. This study provides a multidisciplinary resolution to Plato's Atlantis account by synthesizing ancient philological data, historical chronology, and geodetic analysis. Based on Olympian dating, the dialogue is anchored to early July of 6 BC, while Plato's stadium measurements (185 meters) and bathymetric data establish Atlantis as an elongated landmass of 4,500 by 760 kilometers between Spain and the Antilles. Finally, the island’s destruction is evaluated through a cosmic meteor impact and subsequent axial shift.
