Divarasib Bests 1st-Generation KRASG12C Inhibitors

Patients with previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer who received the KRASG12C inhibitor divarasib were 42% less likely to experience disease recurrence or die than those who received the standard first-generation drugs sotorasib or adagrasib, an international phase III trial concluded. After a median follow-up of 14.3 months, the median progression-free survival was 9.8 months and 5.7 months, respectively.
