The Story of Intuition

This perspective from Artificial Intuition Research (AIR) explores how experience, implicit learning, and pattern recognition may shape intuitive judgments. It examines when intuition can be useful, why it can sometimes mislead us, and how intuitive responses can work alongside deliberate thinking. It also considers how different disciplines approach intuition and distinguishes human intuitive experiences from computational systems that produce similar observable behaviours.
