The first scientifical results of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR under J.A. Orbeli

The purpose of the research is to demonstrate the work of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR after its creation in 1943, to show its work under J.A. Orbeli. Results. The study of the formation and development of academic institutions in the national republics of the USSR has scientific interest. The organization of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR takes place during the Great Patriotic War. Academician J.A. Orbeli was the first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR, he made a lot of efforts to create such an important scientific center of the Armenian SSR. In November 1943, this large-scale event took place: on the basis of the Armenian branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR was created. The Republican Academies of Sciences were symbols of national and cultural revival, they became the link between the center and the periphery for the Soviet scientific system. An analysis of the work of the General Assembly of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR showed the multidirectional scientific interests of its scientists.
