Rosacea and metabolic disease: data and code for testing a shared-pathogenesis comorbidity network against its own null associations
Data and analysis code for Section 7 of the review 'Is Rosacea a Cutaneous Marker of Metabolic Disease? Testing Whether a Shared Gut–Skin–Metabolic Axis Predicts the Comorbidity' (manuscript under submission). Contains the 24 x 11 pathogenetic factor matrix, the designated mechanistic review behind each disease profile, 33 published association estimates with their sources and PubMed identifiers, all model and validation scripts, and every result quoted in the manuscript. This is not a preregistration: the analyses were run before the files were deposited. Updated 2026-10-27: held-out predictions now carry 95% posterior predictive intervals (the first version reported the credible interval of the mean in their place), every model is also scored on the leave-one-disease-out folds that all models can use, and the rosacea profile-similarity table (results/rosacea_cosine_table.csv, Supplementary Table S7) was added.
