Notes on two forgotten Buccinid snails from Cook’s Alaska
Two snails of the family Buccinidae, Beringius rotundus Dall, 1919 and Neptunea nucea Dall, 1919 long presumed to be varieties or synonyms of other species and mostly forgotten in the literature are reconsidered based on new material from near the type localities. The two species are herein demonstrated to be distinct species and their ranges are defined.
