The selection of health facilities for childbirth is important to support safe delivery. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the selection of health facilities for childbirth among third-trimester pregnant women in the working area of Tegal Buleud Public Health Center, Sukabumi Regency. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 223 third-trimester pregnant women, with a sample of 143 respondents selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-Square test. The results showed significant associations between education (p=0.020), JKN ownership (p=0.020; OR=2.833), knowledge (p<0.001; OR=6.480), accessibility (p<0.001; OR=9.707), and culture and beliefs (p<0.001; OR=4.949) and the selection of health facilities for childbirth. Age (p=0.308), occupation (p=0.586), and income (p=0.549) were not significantly associated. Accessibility had the highest OR. In conclusion, education, JKN ownership, knowledge, accessibility, and culture and beliefs were associated with the selection of health facilities for childbirth. Improving the utilization of health facilities requires education, better accessibility, financial protection, and family- and culturally sensitive approaches.
