Vortons as the Primitive Variable of 3D Turbulence, Magnetic Plasma Reconnection, and Fluid-Vacuum Electrodynamics
The vorton functions as the elementary building block of three-dimensional turbulence, replacing continuous grids and Fourier modes with a localized, divergence-free vortex dipole. Core Reconstruction: Continuous vortex tubes are formed by chains of discrete vortons. When the core size equals the spacing between neighboring centers, their overlapping dipolar tails cancel out longitudinal ripples, seamlessly producing an axially uniform cylindrical vortex core. Singularity Resolution: Apparent finite-time fluid singularities are reinterpreted as physical topological reconnections. By transferring energy into microscopic helical waves during filament surgery, these reconnections prevent infinite vorticity accumulation, satisfying weak-solution criteria and resolving classic theoretical objections. Plasma and Vacuum Unification: The same dipole dynamics govern conducting plasmas, where moving charge locks magnetic fields directly to fluid circulation. In vacuum physics, quantum particles emerge as singular vorton cores surrounded by smooth wave envelopes and advected by the physical substrate.
