The Neuro-Synthetic Sublimation Axiom (NSSA)

AbstractThe Neuro-Synthetic Sublimation Axiom (NSSA) is proposed as a conceptual systems framework for investigating whether safe interactive simulation, needs-responsive support, adaptive self-regulation, and structured feedback can contribute to measurable rehabilitation-related outcomes. The framework contains four proposed mechanisms: the Deficit Deviation Mechanism, the Adaptive Equilibrium Pivot Mechanism, the Relative Engagement Scaling Mechanism, and the Inter-Causal Integration Mechanism. Two complementary intervention branches are specified: the Unmet-Needs Rehabilitation Branch and the High-Urge and Harm-Prevention Branch. The manuscript formalizes candidate variables, state transitions, bounded engagement indices, outcome functions, uncertainty measures, and conditions under which parts of the proposed model could be tested. It also specifies a twelve-layer software architecture, a staged validation programme, thirty proposed case-analysis slots, a falsifiability framework, and an independent ethics and governance structure. The manuscript is a conceptual and methodological proposal, not a report of a completed experiment. It presents no participant data, physiological measurements, clinical findings, or demonstrated reduction in recidivism. The equations are candidate modelling structures rather than validated neurobiological laws. The proposed system is not intended to infer criminality from physiological signals or to replace established rehabilitation, health care, social support, or human judgment. The principal research question is whether a carefully specified, ethically governed intervention can produce benefits beyond appropriate comparison conditions, with acceptable safety, fairness, and reproducibility.
