Methodology Annex – From anecdote to evidence: Mapping the impact of US government action on public health research
This project by #DefendResearch and Research Consulting assesses US federal censorship of knowledge in public health research. It provides a citable evidence base on how these actions are affecting research. This document describes the methodology used to identify, screen, analyse and classify evidence on how US government actions has affected public health. It provides further detail on the study design and analytical approach and should be read alongside the associated search strings, screening prompt, coding framework and coded evidence.
