Open call and domain-reviewer brief: What Survives a Transition?

An open call to take over the "What Survives a Transition?" protocol, with the first reviewer brief. SIP Scoping Note v0.25 (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23591187) is a Stage 1 protocol and method record. It reports no confirmatory results and is not peer reviewed. No test has run, no human has coded any case, and no domain-trained human has reviewed the class list, the kind assignments, the tissue mapping or Annex D. The project leader has taken the paper as far as his knowledge allows and offers the rest to other researchers. This record holds two documents. The open call sets out what exists, the three jobs that are left (a domain-trained review, at least two blind human coders, and the model roles, gate and run), and how to take the protocol over: run your own version under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with attribution, become its project leader, log your changes as amendments with independent auditor sign-off, and keep the separations the note sets. The domain-reviewer brief puts six parts of the protocol to a domain-trained reviewer in plain words, each with its own questions, and invented illustrations where they help. The v0.25 record and its files are unchanged and stay locked. These two documents do not amend the protocol, report results, or clear it for any stage. They are not professional advice. Files. Abstract

Files. SIP_Open_call_take_over_v1.0 and SIP_Domain_reviewer_brief_v1.0, each as PDF and as Markdown. The Markdown files are for adapting. Notices.
