Improving Digital Platform Reliability Through Adobe Experience Manager Architecture and Predictive Intelligence
Enterprise digital experience platforms depend on layered infrastructure, author, publish, and dispatcher environments, caching layers, and replication pipelines to remain available and responsive under variable load. Reliability engineering for these platforms has traditionally relied on threshold-based alerting and manual log review, both of which detect problems only after they visibly affect users. This paper examines how Adobe Experience Manager's layered architecture can be paired with predictive intelligence, machine learning techniques applied to logs, metrics, and traffic patterns, to detect early warning signs of platform degradation before they escalate into outages. Drawing on the AIOps and log-anomaly-detection literature, the paper proposes a monitoring architecture spanning cache-behaviour analysis, replication-queue forecasting, and anomaly detection across dispatcher and publish-tier telemetry. It discusses the practical and human-oversight considerations that determine whether predictive intelligence improves reliability outcomes in practice. The paper concludes with limitations and directions for empirically validating the proposed architecture.
