Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Transportasi Online Menggunakan Metode Simple Additive Weighting Berbasis Web
Online transportation services in Indonesia, such as Gojek, Grab, and Maxim, offer varying fares, discounts, comfort levels, and driver availability, often creating uncertainty among daily commuters when selecting a service. This study designs and implements a web-based Decision Support System (DSS), named “SmartRide,” using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support objective selection and reduce subjective bias. The platform evaluates 15 user preference criteria through an interactive questionnaire employing a five-point Likert scale. The collected empirical data are organized into a decision matrix and normalized before preference weights are applied to calculate final scores and rank transportation alternatives. System usability testing involved 23 active student commuters who evaluated the application. The assessment produced an overall mean score of 4.26 out of 5.00 and a usability feasibility percentage of 85.25%, classified as “Very Good.” In addition, SmartRide provides mathematical audit transparency by displaying matrix normalization and final preference weighting, allowing users to examine the calculation process underlying the recommendations. These findings demonstrate the application’s usability and its capacity to provide transparent, structured decision support for daily commuters choosing among online transportation services.
