The Connected Generations: How Technology Shapes Gen Z
The interplay between technology and student life is an ongoing global trend that shows no sign of slowing down. This study aims to evaluate the impact of technology on Indiana Aerospace University's Generation Z students during the 2024-2025 academic year. It specifically looks at the age, gender, nationality, and academic level profiles of the respondents, as well as how technology affects their learning styles, academic achievement, and mental health. The study finds that although technology improves global connectivity and information access, excessive and unchecked use of it has a detrimental effect on students' academic performance and mental health. The study promotes that technology be used in a balanced and thoughtful manner through digital wellness initiatives, awareness campaigns, and technology-integrated teaching methods.
