A Path Is Not a State
This paper is a research report on exact one-step predictive refinement of fixed network partitions. Its unit-source factorization criterion specializes classical block-row-sum reasoning to a signed, absolute-row-normalized, clipped update. In the retained MaleCNS model, 163,439 eligible sources form 90,148 exact one-step predictive classes within four somaSide observation fibers. The report identifies a unique minimum three-coordinate separating set and retains a compact two-source rational failure certificate. Previously published structural route-lifting and post-transient reached-set results provide separately owned boundary cases. The census is an exact finite, model-relative computation; it does not identify physiological mechanisms or establish iterative coarse dynamics on mixtures or later states. Technical notes accompany the report; the full predictive-profile Dataset has a separate Zenodo DOI.
