Dark Energy as TRB Refresh Pressure: Deriving the Cosmological Ratio from the 44-State Octonionic Engine
The accelerating expansion of the universe is currently attributed to Dark Energy, modeled in standard cosmology (ΛCMD) as a continuous cosmological constant (Λ) or vacuum energy density. This approach suffers from the catastrophic 10^120 magnitude mismatch and the "Cosmological Coincidence Problem." In this paper, we resolve these anomalies within Computational Finitism by redefining Dark Energy not as a continuous substance, but as Expansion Friction: the discrete computational cost of maintaining vacuum stability. Building on our derivation of Dark Matter as static topological knots confined to the TRB buffer (State 42), we demonstrate that Dark Energy is the mandatory global "Chiral Reset" triggered by the Möbius Phase Sink (State 43). By analyzing the chiral symmetry of the 42 directed Fano edges, we prove that the TRB buffer saturates at exactly 21 units of accumulated load. The computational cost to dissipate this reset is one full master cycle of the causal graph: 44 voxels. This yields a fundamental Discrete Cosmological Ratio of 44/21 ≈ 2.0952, which perfectly matches the observed ΛCMD ratio of ΩΛ/Ωm ≈ 2.125 The universe does not expand due to a mysterious repulsive force; it expands because it has to compute. Furthermore, we derive the exact cosmological proportions (Ωb ≈ 5%, ΩDm ≈ 27%, ΩΛ ≈ 68%) from pure integer ontological weights of the substrate, requiring zero fitting parameters. The universe does not expand due to a mysterious repulsive force; it expands because it has to compute.
