Thermodynamic Saturation, ASC 360 Impairment Cascades, and DSCR Systemic Default in Classical AI Infrastructure: A Deterministic Brownfield Rescue Architecture via Room-Temperature Spin-Photonics and QFS-zkVM Quantum Bridges

Global capital allocation into hyperscale artificial intelligence (AI) data centers currently rests upon a Coupled Physical-Financial Fragility Paradox. At the physical layer, classical CMOS accelerators operate in a regime of extreme metabolic inefficiency—analogous to the digestive metabolism of Ailuropoda melanoleuca (the giant panda)—dissipating nearly all electrical input as waste heat, breaching the 41.3 kW/rack air-cooling threshold, and forcing non-linear capital expenditure (CapEx) into liquid and immersion cooling. At the financial layer, hyperscalers mask this physical obsolescence by extending server accounting depreciation schedules to 5–6 years against a physical and architectural useful life of 1.5–3.0 years, relying on the "Compute Cascade" narrative (redeploying aging training GPUs to inference) that requires a 16x expansion in inference demand. We prove via deterministic cash-flow stress testing over the 64-bit Goldilocks prime field F_p (p = 2^64 - 2^32 + 1) that when secondary GPU rental rates compress to $1.50/hr at 50% utilization, undiscounted 3.5-year residual cash flows ($9,180) fall far below the 2.5-year net book value ($20,416 on a $35,000 asset), triggering mandatory ASC 360-10-35 Step 1 recoverability failure and Step 2 fair-value write-downs to $3,000 (~$17,000 loss per unit). Concurrently, thermal throttling and spot-rate compression erode Cash Flow Available for Debt Service (CFADS), driving leveraged data-center project finance facilities below lender Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) requirements (1.75x–2.00x) through equity lock-up (1.20x) into technical default (<1.00x), igniting secondary-market collateral liquidation cascades. Rejecting the thermodynamic dead-end of 10 mK superconducting dilution refrigerators, we introduce a room-temperature (300 K) athermal diamond NV- spin-photonics coprocessor integrated via the PHOENIX_BRIDGE / PHOENIX_ROUTER and QFS-zkVM architecture. By offloading high-entropy inference kernels at zero cryogenic overhead, this Quantum Bridge extends brownfield GPU cluster longevity by 3–5 years and enforces SEC Rule 15c3-5 and Delaware Caremark fiduciary oversight. Abstract
