Representasi Nilai-Nilai Teologis dalam Lirik Lagu Bersenja Gurau Karya Raim Laode: Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes dan Perspektif Teologi Ibnu Taimiyah
This study aims to analyze the theological values and their representations in the lyrics of Bersenja Gurau by Raim Laode using Roland Barthes’ semiotic approach and Ibn Taymiyyah’s Islamic theological perspective. This study utilizes a descriptive qualitative methodology, employing song lyrics as the primary data corpus. Data analysis was conducted by integrating Roland Barthes’ semiotic framework, encompassing the three tiers of denotation, connotation, and myth, which were subsequently interpreted through Ibn Taymiyyah’s theological lens, grounded in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The findings reveal four major theological values embedded in the lyrics: faith in Allah’s promises, tawakkul (Reliance on Allah), belief in qada and qadar (divine decree and predestination), and gratitude for Allah’s blessings. These values are represented through natural symbolism, narratives of suffering and hope, and both implicit and explicit affirmations of divinity. The findings indicate that popular music serves as a potent instrument for disseminating theological insights and spiritual messages to a wider audience. Consequently, Bersenja Gurau is positioned not merely as a form of entertainment, but as a vehicle for religious contemplation that articulates Islamic theological precepts within the sphere of popular culture.
