Occurrence of Yunnan Black-veined White Aporia goutellei (Oberthür, 1886) (Lepidoptera: Pieridae: Pierinae: Pierini) in Anjaw District of Arunachal Pradesh: a new addition to the Indian butterfly checklist

Observations are presented on the first record of Aporia goutellei (Oberthür, 1886) from the Indian part of the Eastern Himalaya near the trijunction with China and Myanmar from Pinus merkuseii forests along the Lohit river banks. Comparison of diagnostic features, distribution rnage, seasonality size of A. goutellei is also presented with Aporia harrietae baileyi (South, 1913) that also occurs in the the same region.
