A Pleomorphic Dermal Sarcoma Arising in the Irradiated Field of Angiosarcoma of the Scalp
Pleomorphic dermal sarcoma (PDS) is a rare malignant cutaneous soft tissue tumor that predominantly affects elderly individuals and typically arises on chronically sun-exposed areas, particularly the scalp.Although cumulative ultraviolet exposure, immunosuppression, and trauma have been implicated in the pathogenesis of PDS, the precise etiological mechanisms remain incompletely understood [1,2].
