The article examines the issue of the formation of professional speech skills in Russian among students of philological fields. It should be noted. that in the process of forming professional speech skills, students are guided by specific methodological principles and use scientific terms in the learning process. According to the authors, the effectiveness of the development of professional speech among students in the process of teaching language disciplines depends on the quality of the development of pedagogical and methodological technology.
