Generative Artificial Intelligence in Menopausal Health: A Scoping Review
This scoping review maps empirical research on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in menopausal health, including menopause and menopause-related conditions. It examines the tools studied, their purposes, evaluation approaches and findings, and the involvement and perspectives of women across menopausal stages. The review follows JBI methodology and is reported using PRISMA-ScR and PRISMA-S. Searches of 11 electronic databases and platforms, supplemented by Google Scholar, were conducted on 25 October 2026. Eligible reports were English-language empirical journal articles, conference papers, and conference abstracts published from 30 November 2022. Fifteen studies were included. The synthesis describes study characteristics, applications, evaluation outcomes, and evidence gaps. This deposit was prepared after completion of the searches and initial synthesis and provides a transparent retrospective record of the review methods.
