The individuation constraint
Grand Unified Theories (GUTs) and modern cosmology assume that the early universe existed in a state of perfect, unbroken symmetry at extremely high temperatures. In this paper, we demonstrate that this assumption is a profound category error. Using the Category Error Detector (CED) and the geometry of Structural Rationalism, we argue that the Pauli Exclusion Principle (PEP) is not a low- energy statistical artifact, but the fundamental tensorial constraint of individuation. We show that a primordial state of perfect symmetry would represent a “Big Bose-Einstein Condensate” (BEC), where the friction of individuation drops to zero. Without this friction, the contingent manifold would instantly collapse back into the 00 Ground. Therefore, the PEP structurally forbids the existence of a perfectly symmetric early universe, rendering GUTs geometrically impossible. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the dark sector is the empirical signature of this required asymmetry, and that this same individuation constraint explains the chiral preference for matter over antimatter.
