Educational Policy in a Departmental Educational Organization

The article examines the educational policy of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation. Its revision is prompted by the unprecedented transformation of the Russian prosecution service’s activities amid the emergence of new contours of national security: practice places increased demands on personnel, and the University responds to these demands through anticipatory training. The article demonstrates that the core of this policy is the integration of education, science, and prosecutorial practice, and that it covers the entire cycle of a prosecutorial officer’s professional formation — from career guidance for school students to the adaptation of graduates in service and subsequent continuing professional development. The choice of this topic is timed to coincide with the University’s twentieth anniversary (2027): the anniversary provides an occasion to take stock and to outline development guidelines for departmental legal education. The study draws on general scientific and specific scientific methods.
