COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF MORPHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL INDICATORS OF THE MEDICINAL STEVIA (STEVIA REBAUDIANA BERTONI) PLANT IN THE SOIL AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS OF THE KHOREZM REGION

The article analyzes the results of presented experiments on the morphological indicators of the medicinal stevia (Stevia Rebekaudiana Bertoni) plant, grown in 2023–2025 under the conditions of the Khiva district of the Khorezm region. Four fertilizer variants were compared: control, mineral, organic, and combined mineral-organic. In the combined variant, the plant height was 72.6 cm, the number of leaves was 129, the leaf surface area was 168.7 cm2, and the root mass was 27.8 g, which was 21.4%, 31.6%, 31.4%, and 47.1% higher than the control, respectively. According to the one-factor dispersion analysis presented on the slide, the F values for all traits are greater than the table threshold F=3.49. Due to the lack of local laboratory measurements for biochemical indicators, the significance of the glycosides chlorophyll, proline, and steviol was explained based on the reviewed literature. The results indicate that complex fertilization can stimulate stevia growth; the impact on raw material quality should be investigated separately.
