Research on Juvenile Social Work Service Governance from the Three-Dimensional Perspective of Prevention-Intervention-Correction
The development of young people is closely linked to the future of the nation and society; however, due to the influence of various factors—including the online environment, family atmosphere and school environment—young people are highly susceptible to emotional instability and extreme behaviour. Consequently, managing and protecting young people through community-based initiatives is key to driving social development. The ‘three-pronged’ model of prevention, intervention and rehabilitation can effectively enhance the intensity and quality of community management regarding youth development, reduce the costs of rehabilitating young people with behavioural problems, and prevent such issues before they arise. Consequently, this study explores the ‘prevention, intervention and correction’ three-pronged approach to understand the progress made and challenges faced by community work in this area, thereby providing sound recommendations for future improvements.
