Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Materi Pecahan Siswa Kelas IV SDN Telaga Biru 02

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on fourth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes in fraction lessons at UPTD SDN Telaga Biru 02. The research design employs a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental approach. The sample consisted of 46 students selected through purposive sampling, with 22 students in the experimental group and 24 in the control group. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using an independent-samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant effect of Discovery Learning on students’ mathematics learning outcomes (t = 4.650; p < 0.05). The experimental group achieved a higher mean post-test score (81.36) than the control group (60.00). These findings indicate that Discovery Learning can improve elementary students’ understanding of fractions and mathematics learning outcomes
