PENGARUH DISIPLIN KERJA DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PERUSAHAAN GARMEN DI SEMARANG

This study empirically examines the contribution of work discipline and the workplace environment toward employee performance within the garment industry in Semarang. Employing a quantitative approach, primary data was gathered from 100 respondents via structured questionnaires. The data processing was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics, encompassing assessments of data quality (validity and reliability) alongside classical assumption testing (normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity). Furthermore, inter-variable relationships were calculated through multiple linear regression, supplemented by t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis to measure the model's capacity to explain variations in workforce performance. The findings reveal that work discipline plays a vital role and significantly impacts individual performance. Similarly, the work environment variable consistently demonstrates a significant positive contribution. When evaluated simultaneously, the integration of discipline and working conditions exerts a tangible collective influence on overall worker effectiveness. These insights highlight the vital responsibility of management in sustaining employee discipline and fostering a supportive workplace atmosphere to continuously enhance organizational productivity and human well-being.
