Analisa Kinerja Jaringan Irigasi dengan Pendekatan IKSI di Daerah Irigasi Rolak Songo ( Studi Kasus : Saluran Sekunder Kedung Ploso dan Saluran Sekunder Mindu Gading)

The availability and condition of irrigation networks are important factors in supporting the smooth distribution of water to agricultural land and the sustainability of agricultural activities. Performance evaluation is therefore needed to determine the actual condition of the network and identify components requiring attention. This study aims to analyze the performance of the irrigation network in the Rolak Songo Irrigation Area, particularly the Kedung Ploso Secondary Canal and Mindu Gading Secondary Canal, using the Irrigation System Performance Index (IKSI) approach based on the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing (Permen PUPR) Number 12 of 2015. The research methods employed included field observations, irrigation network condition surveys, interviews with farmers, documentation, and scoring assessments of six IKSI aspects, namely physical infrastructure, cropping productivity, supporting facilities, personnel organization, documentation, and the institutional performance of the Water User Farmers Association (P3A). The results showed that the overall condition of the irrigation network in the study area was generally good; however, several physical damages were identified, including cracked concrete lining, sedimentation, damage to irrigation structures, and the growth of wild vegetation, which affected the smooth distribution of irrigation water. Based on the IKSI assessment results, the irrigation network performance was still capable of supporting agricultural irrigation needs, but maintenance activities and rehabilitation of damaged canal sections are still required to ensure that the irrigation system functions more optimally and sustainably. The evaluation results also provide an overview of aspects requiring improvement as a basis for determining maintenance and rehabilitation priorities for damaged canal sections.
