Efektivitas Metode Demontrasi Berbasis Video Terhadap Tingkat Pengetahuan Perawatan Luka Ringan Siswa Kelas X SMA 15 Adidarma Banda Aceh

Knowledge of minor wound care is essential for students to prevent infections and complications caused by inappropriate wound management. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a video-based demonstration method in improving knowledge of minor wound care among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 15 Adidarma Banda Aceh. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 30 respondents selected using total sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires administered before and after the intervention and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that the mean knowledge score increased from 10,60 at pretest to 14,17 at posttest. Statistical analysis yielded a Z value of -4.708 with a p-value of less than 0.001. These findings indicate a significant difference in knowledge before and after the intervention. Therefore, the video-based demonstration method was effective in improving students' knowledge of minor wound care.
