Pelaksanaan Program Edukasi tentang Tablet Tambah Darah untuk Mencegah Anemia pada Siswa Kelas VI di SD Negeri 105432 Kp. Ampera

Anemia affects approximately 32% of Indonesian adolescents, potentially impairing concentration, fitness, and growth. The government promotes iron supplementation tablets (TTD) in schools alongside visual/video-based health education. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ understanding of TTD consumption through video-based interactive lectures and a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Conducted on July 30, 2026, at SD Negeri 105432 Kp. Ampera, the activity involved 32 sixth-grade students aged 11–12 years, comprising 15 boys and 17 girls, supported by homeroom teachers and the principal. Activities comprised preparation, planning, implementation and action, and evaluation and reflection. Knowledge was assessed using eight multiple-choice questions administered before and after the intervention. Understanding of anemia risks and symptoms increased by 55 percentage points, from 35% to 90%; knowledge of TTD benefits and consumption increased by 64 points, from 28% to 92%; and adherence and willingness to consume TTD increased by 48 points, from 40% to 88%. These findings indicate that visual-media education and participatory approaches effectively improve sixth-grade students’ understanding and awareness of healthy living.
