Beyond Disclosure: Ethical Persuasion and Public Trust in Political Influencer Communication on Social Media
This paper examines the ethical challenges of political influencer communication on social media, focusing on transparency, accuracy, responsibility, and audience autonomy. Based on a narrative literature review, it explores sponsorship disclosure, public trust, and political persuasion through media ethics theories. The study proposes the TARA framework (Transparency, Accuracy, Responsibility, and Autonomy) to evaluate ethical political communication. The framework provides practical guidance for influencers, political campaigns, and social media platforms, but further research is needed to test its effectiveness.
