Villoglandular Adenocarcinoma of the Cervix With Ovarian Metastasis Mimicking a Borderline Ovarian Tumor: A Rare Case Report
ABSTRACT This case reports rare cervical villoglandular adenocarcinoma metastasizing to the ovary with a deceptive borderline‐like morphology. Diagnosis relied on matching immunohistochemistry and HPV16 DNA detection in both sites. The patient underwent surgery and chemoradiotherapy, remaining recurrence‐free. This highlights the critical need for multimodal testing to distinguish such metastases from primary ovarian tumors.
